Aidan Salier is a Los Angeles based composer, guitarist and songwriter.

In 2023 he produced the scores for director Stella Taylor’s dramatic debut A Little Dark; and Beyond the Aggressives: 25 Years Later, the follow-up to director Daniel Peddle’s seminal 2005 documentary The Aggressives.

His previous work in film/TV includes music for Try Harder!, which premiered in competition at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival; New Yorker Documentary Since You Arrived, My Heart Stopped Belonging To Me; and two seasons of IDA and Gotham Award-nominated series The F Word.

Aidan’s background as a guitarist and indie rock songwriter/producer is a thruline connecting his cinematic works and his solo music as Small Future; upcoming album Beach Games is a nine-song instrumental project inspired by summer days in the 90s, growing up minutes from the Pacific.

He is currently writing and producing sad funeral anxiety dream, a collection of songs around existential anxiety, transmasc coming-of-age and the “boring apocalypse”, with sonic roots in 90s indie and chamber pop.

In addition to his scoring and solo work, Aidan is an enthusiastic amateur runner; you can often find him outside the studio, putting one foot in front of the other.
